Session 6 - Human Trafficking

Human Trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery in which traffickers use force, fraud or coercion to control victims for the purpose of engaging in commercial sex acts or labor services against their will. The air transport system can be used by traffickers, so it is important for the aviation community to take action and fight against trafficking. The panel aims to bring awareness of the issue and provide guidance on the available tools and resources to help detect and report trafficking.

Session 7 - Airport Modernization Updates

In the 1960’s the Jetsons portrayed some of the fantastic technological advancements we see today such as the moving sidewalk (moving walkway). No flying cars just yet. However, the modernization of airports has to consider the electrical challenges that will face many airports in the not so distant future with electric planes and electric vehicles becoming more prevalent.
