City of Dallas Department of Aviation new assistant director – operations

The City of Dallas Department of Aviation has named Javier Centeno, A.A.E., as assistant director – operations. In his new role, Centeno will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance of the Dallas Airport System (DAS), which includes Dallas Love Field and Dallas Executive Airport. Since joining the City of Dallas Department of Aviation in 2022, he has served as superintendent of airport operations, managing the Airport Operations Division’s $3.5 million budget, and leading the coordination of multi-million-dollar capital improvement projects.
